This article shows how to filter products by document type and export the relevant product documentation. You get a quick overview of which products have the selected documents attached, along with the total number of matching products, before exporting — making it easier to gather, check, and share the right documentation.
Steps

Open a project and click the Products tab.

Click Export and select Products documentation.

Select the document types you want to filter by and click Apply.

You’ll see every product that has at least one of these document types attached. All matching products are selected by default — use the checkbox next to Name to select or deselect all of them at once, or uncheck individual products to exclude them.

Click Export selected products, then choose an export option:
- List of products only – downloads an .xlsx file with the product list immediately, with no documentation included.
- Files – bundles the documentation into a structured ZIP file, delivered as a download link by email.

If you choose Files, pick how the ZIP should be structured:
- Product name structured ZIP file – documents grouped in folders by product name.
- Document type structured zip – documents grouped in folders by document type.
- List of suppliers in structured .zip – documents sorted by supplier.
- Facility management handover structured .zip – documents exported in the standard handover (FDV) structure.
Use the Include List of products toggle to add or remove the product list from the export (on by default). The download link is emailed to you automatically — add other recipients, separated by commas, if you want to share it with someone else. Click Export to finish.
