The FM requirement helps you gather the necessary facility management documentation in a standardized way. It reduces manual work, minimizes risk, and contributes to more efficient and sustainable operation of the building over time.
When creating a project

When you create a project, you’re asked to choose the project type (different building types).

Your selection determines which predefined FM requirements are added to the project.
View and manage the FM requirement

Go to Requirements and click Manage on the Facility management card.

For now, you can only deactivate the FM requirement by removing the check mark and clicking Save. The project type selected at creation is shown at the top of the page and can’t be changed afterward.
Check for missing FM documentation

Open Facility management in the left-hand menu to see all products in the project that are subject to FM requirements. The product list opens already filtered to Facility management.

In the Requirement status column, you’ll see the current status for each product, so you can quickly spot which ones have deviations related to missing FM documentation.

Click the Missing documentation status to see which documents are missing. You’ll get an overview of all deviations for the product — scroll down to the Facility management requirements section to see the ones that apply to FM.

Once you’ve identified the missing documentation, you can send a request directly to the supplier to obtain it. Open the ⋮ menu on the product and select Request project-specific product data.
Export FM documentation

Go to Export and select Products documentation to export the FM documentation linked to the products.

In the export view, filter by document type so only the relevant FM documentation is included — this makes it easier to collect and share the required files.
