Chemicals containing diisocyanates

Last Updated: October 26, 2026

You’re required by law to keep track of products that contain diisocyanates, so you can document that workers have completed training in the safe use of these chemicals on the construction site.

Find the chemicals that contain diisocyanates

1

In My projects, click the chemicals number in the project’s statistics row – or open the project and select Chemical list in the left-hand menu.

2

In the Chemical list, find the card Chemicals containing diisocyanates, requiring training. Click it to see all chemicals in the project that contain diisocyanates.

Note: The training requirement applies to all isocyanate-containing mixtures with a total concentration of one or more diisocyanates of 0.1% by weight or more. The list shows chemicals that contain diisocyanates regardless of concentration.

Diisocyanate content doesn’t automatically trigger a deviation. Collaborate doesn’t notify users when such a product is added to the project – it’s up to you to keep an eye on the number. That’s why the deviation count on the dashboard doesn’t change when new diisocyanate products are added.

Export safety data sheets

3

Tick the chemicals you want to export safety data sheets for (use the filters to export a narrower list), then click Export. Choose List of chemicals only to download an .xlsx overview, or Files to have the safety data sheets themselves sent to you by email, with the option to sort them.

Other actions for a chemical

4

Click the three dots to the right of a chemical to Print Label, Generate QR code poster, View related products, download the SDS (Download SDS or Download compressed SDS), or Archive SDS.

Update to the latest SDS version

5

If there’s a small bubble with a number next to the SDS version, a newer version is available. Click the bubble to open Browse SDS revisions, then click Update SDS on the version you want.

✓ You now have an overview of all chemicals containing diisocyanates in the project, and can export or update the safety data sheets you need.
