How to check deviations on the project

Go to My projects.

Search for the project you want and click it.

Go to the Products and Chemicals panels on the project dashboard, and look for deviations without assessment in each category.
This gives you a combined overview of all unresolved deviations in the project.
Types of deviations
Depending on which requirements have been set for the project, you may see deviations related to:
- Missing legislative documentation
- Chemical filter
- Missing BREEAM documentation
- NS Ecolabel (Svanemerket)
- Missing sustainability documentation (EPD)
- Missing FDV documentation
Chemical deviations
If chemicals have been delivered to the project that don’t comply with the filter, they appear under Chemical requirements in the Chemical list.
Click the red deviation mark to read more about the deviation.
To resolve the deviation, create a risk assessment: go to Risk management > My risk management, find the chemical in the list, and click Assess. See a separate article for how to perform a risk assessment.
Once the risk assessment is complete, the chemical deviation closes and is removed from the deviation count on the project dashboard.
BREEAM deviations
If the project has a BREEAM filter, you may get deviations on products that don’t meet the requirements, for example because:
- Documentation relevant to the BREEAM requirements is missing
- Environmentally hazardous substances have been identified in the product that match the chemical lists used in BREEAM 6.0 / 6.1.1
The BREEAM category has two lists:
- Products relevant to fulfilling requirements under MAT 02
- Products relevant to fulfilling requirements under HEA 02
Closing BREEAM deviations
BREEAM deviations can be closed in three ways:
- Perform a BREEAM assessment. Go to BREEAM products and create the assessment — this also works when documentation is missing. The deviation closes automatically once the assessment is complete. See a separate article: How to perform an assessment of the BREEAM products on the project.
- Request documentation. Click the menu to the right of the product and select Request product information. This opens a preview of an email listing all open deviations for the product, grouped by category (BREEAM, Legislative, NS Ecolabel, Sustainability).
Check and add recipients before sending — the manufacturer’s email address is pre-filled based on our latest available data, but it may be outdated. If the manufacturer already has a Cobuilder Supply account, they’re asked to log in and upload it there. If they don’t have an account, they’re invited to register.
- Upload the documentation yourself. If you have the documentation available, choose Upload product document from the same menu.
Legislative deviations
The Legislative category has two lists: products missing a safety data sheet (SDS), and products missing a declaration of performance (DoP).
You close the deviation the same way as for BREEAM deviations: request product information from the manufacturer, or upload the documentation yourself — both from the menu to the right of the product.
After upload, the document is reviewed, and you’ll get an email once the result is ready.
