Company Level Requirements

Last Updated: September 7, 2026

Note: Upgrade to Ensure if you want to create your own projects and manage the requirements yourself.

A national filter that identifies unwanted chemicals is automatically activated whenever you create a project in Cobuilder Collaborate. Authorities, industry associations, and contractors across the construction industry developed this filter together to meet the needs of everyone involved.

You can also add extra chemical substance requirements at the company level.

Changes you make to the chemical requirements at company level don’t affect your existing projects — only new projects receive the updated requirements.

Find and edit the requirements

1

Go to HSE Management from the top menu and select Company chemical requirements to view the current setup.

2

Click Edit Company Chemical Requirements to make changes.

Note: Some hazard statements, CAS numbers, and chemical lists appear greyed out because they’re mandatory Norwegian national chemical requirements and can’t be edited.

The four requirement types

3

Hazard statements – represent the dangers a hazardous substance or mixture can pose when used. Search by code or description to add more, then select the relevant one.

If you paste in a code or description, check that there’s no trailing space at the end — the search won’t return a match if there is.

4

Supplemental hazard information (EU) – the EU’s own EUH statements for extra safety information, added the same way as hazard statements.

5

CAS numbers – unique numerical identification codes for chemical compounds, polymers, mixtures, and similar.

6

Chemical lists – click a list to expand it, then click Show substances to see what it contains.

✓ Company chemical requirements have been updated. The requirements automatically apply to all new projects that are created.
